Burning Man - September, 2010

So I finally made it to Burning Man!

I'm not even sure where to start with this one. Judging by the attendance, physical size, and duration of the event, I'm pretty certain that it's the biggest party in the world. Daytime was wild, but it was at night that things came alive. And, yes, the playa dust and the dust storms really are as bad as people say they are. I bought a cheap used camera prior to the event with the expectation of it getting trashed by the time I left. Fortunately, it still works!

Since full-scale aircraft aren't allowed to fly over the "city", I got my model airplane out to take low-altitude aerial photos during the mornings before the winds kicked up.
