an·a·glyph
/ˈanəˌɡlif/
noun 1.
PHOTOGRAPHY
a stereoscopic photograph with the two images superimposed and printed in different colors, producing a stereo effect when the photograph is viewed through correspondingly colored filters.
I've recently become fascinated with stereoscopic photography. However, the challenge is displaying the images for others to see. Since red-blue (cyan) glasses are so readily available for viewing anaglyphs, I've posted a some anaglyphs here. I recommend spending at least half a minute with each image to allow your eyes to adjust to the colors.
Also, if you see any "ghosting" (where parts of the image appear faintly out of place), that's likely due to your display's color calibration being slightly off. Hopefully it's close enough that you get the full 3D effect because it's really cool!
Note: your left eye should look through the red lens; your right eye should look through the blue (cyan) lens.
