Badlands National Park - June, 2015

photos taken: ~1320

Not a day went by without storms during my visit to Badlands National Park.  The prairie dogs and bighorn sheep were silly, and the burrowing owls provided entertainment as they caught their evening meals.

I hiked the Castle Trail, joined by hoards of mosquitoes along the way.  In fact, the mosquitoes were downright gnarly everywhere in the park.  If you visit the Badlands, be sure to cover up or use insect repellent!
