This photo received the "Best of Show" award (out of almost 300 entries) in the National Park Service Spirit of the Mountains 2011 Photo Contest! It will be published in OUTDOORS, the quarterly calendar of events and programs for the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. It has an average circulation of 20,000 issues.
